Medicaid transports available to the larger cities surrounding these areas.  These trips must be made 48 hours

in advance through AMR (800-877-1261)  All others can be make reservations for next day service. Longer notice is greatly appreciated and helps ensure there is a vehicle and driver available.

Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (except holidays)

BAT and LRAT vehicles range from 5 to 14 passenger vehicles.  ADA compliant vehicles are available.

Basic "set up" informaiton is needed prior to riding with BAT or LRAT. Please have the following information availalbe before calling for an appointment: a) name, b) your physical address, c) passenger identification. For ITD reporting purposes BAT and LRAT need to know what criteria best fits them. Are  you a public passenger (65 or under), Senior passenger (65 or older) or a pseenger who has a physical or intellectual disability

 

Thereafter, to arrange for a transport please have: a) date and time of appointment, b) return pick up time, if needed, c) pick up an drop off locations, d) if return location is not he same as the pick up location, please specify, e) for medical appointments, name of doctor or clinic/hospital.   BAT and LRAT vehicles range from 5 to 14 passengers. ADA compliant vehicles are available.

BAT and LRAT have Passenger Rules  to help ensure eveyone has a safe and pleasant ride whether they are the only passenger or with others.  Not following these rules could result in your inability to ride with BAT or LRAT.  Ask the driver for the Passenger Rules brochure for more in-depth information on these rules.

1. No smoking in or around the vehicles.                                                                                                            2. No eating or drinking allowed on vehicles.

3. Show respect others.  This includes fragrances and offensive odors.                                                                         4.  Must be fully clothed at all times.

5. All carry-on items must be stowed in your lap or below your seat.                                                                         6. No profane or vulgar language.

7. Physically or verbally abuse, threatening or attacking others, including the driver is not allowed.                     8.  Must wear safety belts when vehicle is running.

9. Guns, Hazardous Materials, Explosives, Knives, and Dangerous Liquids are not allowed on vehicle.             10.  Do not stick hand, arns or heat out of the windows.

11. Properly controlled ‘service animals’ accompanying disable persons are the only animals permitted.           12.  Keep hands and feet to yourself and off the seats.

13. Small service animals must be in a cage/ carrier and must be stored on the floor in front of you.                   14. All carry-on items must be stowed in your lap or below the seat.

15. Larger animals must sit/lay in the floor at your feet.                                                                                               16.  Bicycles are not allowed in the vehicle.

17. No alcohol or drugs or anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs are allowed on the vehicle.               18.  Passengers 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult.

19.  Caregiver/family may escort an elderly or disabled passenger.                                                                            20. Audio devise users must use earphone while on the vehicle.

 

DON'T NEED YOUR SCHEDULED RIDE!              DON'T BE A 'NO SHOW'              BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHER PASSENGERS AND THE DRIVERS

Please call BAT or LRAT to cancel or reschedule your ride.  Prior day's notice is grealy appreciate when cancelling.  If you are not at your location at the scheduled pick-up time, our friendly drivers will wait an additional 5 minutes.  If you miss your scheduled pick-up or cancel you ride less than 1 hour prior to pick-up time, this will be considered a 'Not Show'.  A passenger with three (3) 'No Shows' in a thirty (30) day period may result in a thirty (30) day suspension of services.  Remember, always be respectful of the driver and passengers.
