The Controller position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and with the Director of Finance, manages a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and with Director of Finance, ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.

The scope of the controlled position is much larger with fewer accounting personnel, where the position is also responsible for cash management and rish management.

Preferred Skills:

The Controller candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, and 5+ years of progressive accounting responsibilities with an emphasis on management responsibilities.

Be able to maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.  Manage outsourced functions.  Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organized structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.

Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operation, and policies and procedures.
